Once you register a property in Karnataka, you need to pay a stamp duty to the state government. The stamp duty fee in Karnataka at the moment ranges between 2% to 5% depending on the cost of your property.

Likewise, the registration cost in Karnataka is 1% in addition to the registration and stamp fee. In addition to the above fee, the Karnataka government also adds small surcharge on stamp duty.
