It was on January 27, 2022 when the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy first launched the Portal 2.0. It was launched to provide all essential government services to the citizens of the state.

This portal happens to be an improved version of the citizen service portal. The benefits of the portal are taken by all the authorities of the state.

The reason why it is an improved version of the portal is because it has been made digitalized. Due to this, it has more transparency in the system which makes it different. In another feature, the citizens are able to track their online application status after they are registered.

All the updates regarding their application are usually sent through SMS. It’s also linked to payment gateway so as to access paid services.

 

Services Offered Through AP Seva Portal

One of the core benefits of launching this portal is that even remote village residents will be able to get an access to various government services. There are different government services needed at different point of time.

Out of the above, around 30 services are included under the land and revenue administration. Out of the above, 25 services are included under municipal administration, and some other services are offered through the above portal.

Using this portal, you can easily approve your application online where officials can provide various documents and certificates with a digital signature.

The good part is that portal services can be easily accessed from any secretariat. To make this happen, a volunteer system is enabled at local level.

To make the portal work seamlessly, around 4 lakh people are part of the entire delivery system which is known to deliver almost 540 services to the state citizens.

As per an update, as many as 3.45 government services were provided through the ward or village secretariat.
